Hand rejuvenation with Radiesse®

Radiesse® is a unique dermal filler made from synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) mi-crospheres suspended in a water based gel carrier.

Radiesse® is a dermal filler made from synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). Once injected, the gel matrix changes the volume of the dermis instantly. Additionally Radiesse continues to work over time. The CaHA stimulates production of the body’s own collagen, which prolongs the volume replacement over an extended period of time. Radiesse is the ideal choice for hand contouring and rejuvenation.

Radiesse® dermal filler meets one of the most rigorous standards for dermal fillers. Since Radiesse received FDA approval in 2006 (the American board that regulates the use of medicines and medical devices in the USA), it has been used worldwide with an excellent satisfaction and safety record. What are the advantages of Radiesse®?

Radiesse is mixed with an anaesthetic. Numbing cream is also applied to the skin prior to injections to keep any discomfort to a minimum.

Radiesse is made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite. It is non-toxic and 100% biodegradable and biocompatible so no allergy tests are necessary prior to treatment injections.

Radiesse should last around 12 months. It stimulates the growth of fresh collagen, the building block for future skin. It is an excellent product for hand rejuvenation.

Radiesse is well tolerated. Occasionally people have some bleeding and swelling immediately after the injections but this soon settles.
